Distribution Problems

Welcome back to Pop’s Garage.

Summer is almost over. Temperatures are on the decline (sort of). And School has started.Work is going well and My daughter (21) has a new job working as a Pre-K4 Teacher’s assistant. I am now starting to get to spend more time relaxing in Pop’s Garage and doing some of the things I want to.

Oops. Now I am working on an issue that came about due to some inclement weather we had. The Dragster grew an ignition issue that has required the replacement of the ignition coil. However the ignition coil is a part of the distributor on this engine and not a part that can be purchased without the entire distributor. That has arrived today. I will get to install it this evening when i get home. I truly can’t wait to be able to drive my car to work again.

When that is done and out of Pop’s Garage I can then bring the Patriot (69 C10) back in and get the brakes looked at and try and give it a tune up. She smells of gas in a very bad way when she runs.
