Welcome back to Pop’s Garage.
The weather is better. Upper 60’s to lower 70’s. With this in mind I wanted to work on an oil change on our 1999 E-350 and install a battery relocation kit in the 2003 Eclipse. Instead I went to Iowa to drive my daughter home in her car. I suspect I will be doing some work on her car while she is here. It’s a 2004 Toyota Solara. I’ll be doing an oil change on it as well while trying to find the leak. We may be looking at new tires. Not sure yet as she lives in Iowa most of the year and we live in Texas. Climate is considerably different. Warm and somewhat wet here and snow there. She needs the right kind of tires and I don’t know if we can find the right tires here. We shall see.
I will get to the oil change and battery relocation after I return. This past week I started the weight reduction in the Eclipse. I have removed everything from the trunk and started removing the panels in the rear and front passenger side in preparation for the battery relocation. May not sound like much but my 10 year old enjoyed working with me. So it’s a win.
That’s it for now. Hope you had a good weekend, stay safe and wrench on kids.
